Arab Water Council (AWC)

The Arab Water Council (AWC) is dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding and improved management of water resources throughout the Arab states. Utilizing a multi-disciplinary, non-political, professional, and scientific approach, the Arab Water Council disseminates knowledge and enhances the sharing of experiences. This is all in service of achieving integrated water resources management for sustainable development and good water governance, ultimately benefiting the Arab people.

Established in 2004 and based in Cairo, Egypt, the Arab Water Council operates as a regional non-profit organization with activities extending both regionally and internationally.
