ALDAR FOUNDATION empowers young storytellers and creates new job opportunities for youth, pushing the Iraqi artistic and cultural sphere to engage critically with social issues and create societal cohesion.

ALDAR FOUNDATION is developing key programs such as the AL-DAR Academy for Alternative Cinema, which provides hands-on workshops for writers, directors, camera personnel, designers, and animators. This initiative aims to broaden critical thinking, organizational skills, and team leadership, enabling participants to integrate into the Iraqi arts and culture scene and collaborate with international partners. The ALDAR FOUNDATION Film Fund supports young Iraqi artists in telling their stories through cinema, with a focus on promoting underrepresented individuals.
