The organization is committed to upholding the highest standards in the implementation and execution of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS). AACEI - National Capital Section ensures its members are well-versed in the necessary requirements, standards, and best practices for planning, developing, and executing all aspects of project controls related to the cost and schedule of any project throughout its lifecycle. These objectives are met through seminars, field trips, certification examinations, and maintaining an engaging forum for members and professional colleagues in the Washington Area, including collaborations with allied professional societies.
