EFPA (European Federation of Psychologists' Associations) stands as a leading non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of psychology across Europe. With a strong presence in Brussels, at Grasmarkt 105, 1000 BE, EFPA serves as the umbrella organization for national psychologists’ associations, uniting 37 European countries, including all 27 member countries of the European Union.

Founded in 1981, EFPA has established a remarkable legacy of enhancing scientific and professional standards within the field of psychology. The organization is deeply committed to contributing to society by leveraging psychological knowledge and competencies to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Moreover, EFPA tirelessly works to serve psychologists by advancing, promoting, and protecting their profession at both national and European levels.

Through its network of approximately 350,000 psychologists, EFPA collaborates with Member Associations, professional practitioner psychologists, researchers, and numerous stakeholders, including associate member organizations and affiliated European teaching and student organizations. EFPA actively participates in EU Commission-funded research and development projects and sets the European standard of education, professional training, and competence in psychology through EuroPsy.
