Funded by Arts Council England, Museum Development North operates from April 1, 2024, through March 31, 2026, delivering impactful museum development activities across the region.

Managed through a collaborative partnership between York Museums Trust, the Manchester Museums Partnership, Cumbria Museum Consortium, and North East Museums, Museum Development North focuses on fostering strong and agile museums. By offering comprehensive support and resources, Museum Development North ensures these institutions can thrive and continue to enrich their communities.
