Coastal Heritage Society is dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences through the preservation and presentation of the rich historic resources of coastal Georgia and its adjacent regions. Founded in 1975, Coastal Heritage Society operates six historic museums, offering a wide array of engaging explorations and special events that immerse visitors in the unique culture of the area. Coastal Heritage Society manages two National Historic Landmark sites and four additional museums.

Coastal Heritage Society's Tricentennial Park campus, situated on the west side of downtown Savannah, encompasses the Savannah History Museum & Battlefield Memorial Park, the Georgia State Railroad Museum, and the Savannah Children's Museum. These sites offer diverse and captivating experiences for adults, families, and individuals of all ages. Additionally, Coastal Heritage Society oversees Old Fort Jackson, a historic fort located on the Savannah River, Pin Point Heritage Museum, and Harper Fowlkes House, located downtown on Orleans Square.
