Cinekid

Cinekid is the world’s leading film and media festival for children. Every autumn, Cinekid organizes the Cinekid Film, Television and Digital Media Festival for children during the school holidays. The international event is based in Amsterdam, extending throughout the country with events, screenings, workshops, and master classes taking place in almost 40 cities in the Netherlands.

Each year, Cinekid provides more than 65,000 children the opportunity to visit over 500 media productions – feature films, children’s documentaries, short films, animation films, television series and single productions, cross-media productions, interactive installations, and workshops selected by Cinekid. Cinekid for Professionals (CfP) is a 5-day industry event aimed at international professionals working within children's media. CfP takes place during the Cinekid Festival in October, bringing together broadcasters, networks, entertainment companies, distributors, producers, directors, academics, and journalists. Cinekid offers a top-level conference, a co-production market, state-of-the-art screening facilities, and networking opportunities.
