The plant has a capacity to produce 100,000 MTPA of Rolled products (TMT), along with intermediate products and a 12.5 MW Captive Power Plant. The Sponge Iron unit, operational since October 2005, now produces 100,000 mt of ISI Certified TMT bars annually under the brand name ‘ANKIT TMT.’

The Captive Power Plant combines Waste Heat Recovery and AFBC technologies, enabling Ankit Metal and Power Limited to generate power at a lower cost than state utilities, reducing overall production costs. Located near the coal belt in Ranigunj with a linkage to Coal India Ltd., the plant benefits from logistical and transportation cost savings. Its strategic positioning ensures uninterrupted movement of raw materials and finished products via state & national highways, railways, and ports.
