MHDP aims to challenge & reimagine our approach to mental health by understanding it from a Social Justice Perspective.
Mental Health Decolonized is dedicated to challenging and reimagining the approach to mental health by understanding it from a social justice perspective. Founded in 2021, Mental Health Decolonized aims to decolonize the approach to mental health care and psychosocial development. Decolonizing psychology creates possibilities for social change, challenging the history of the field, existing norms, and practices to reimagine our approach towards mental healthcare.
Recognizing that a ‘one size fits all’ approach to mental health fails to account for the lived experiences of BIPOC and communities facing marginalization and oppression, Mental Health Decolonized advocates for a more inclusive and socially conscious mental health paradigm. The organization understands that people and their minds are influenced by their social, economic, and political conditions, and interventions should reflect this holistic understanding.
Mental Health Decolonized operates primarily in India, IN, focusing on advocacy and community engagement to promote a more equitable mental health landscape. We are confident that the information will be completed soon with the support of the company’s management.
To the Manager of Mental Health Decolonized, we invite you to create a customized and exclusive company showcase and product listing on our platform.
