Located at Shagadam 8, Turkmenbashi, TM, the general cargo terminal at Turkmenbashi International Seaport is designed for cargoes that do not require special care. The terminal includes both outdoor and indoor sections, with a 26,394 square meters indoor warehouse area perfect for goods like cotton and fabric materials that require protection from the elements. Additionally, the 75,000 square meters outdoor area is ideal for storing metal and metal-like goods, capable of withstanding various weather conditions.

Turkmenbashi International Seaport features the longest wharf, measuring 625 meters, allowing for the loading and unloading of four 5000 DWT-capacity ships simultaneously. With an annual capacity of 4 million tons for general cargo and 3 million tons for bulk cargo, the port incorporates advanced technologies for storing grain, feed, chemical products, and cement. These facilities include 14-grain silos with a total volume of 35,000 cubic meters and 8 cement silos with a total volume of 6000 cubic meters. Bulk cargo handling is streamlined through conveyor systems and conveyor ship loaders, ensuring efficient operations.
