Ensuring Indigenous people have a seat at the economic table in energy transition (#RETI) and infrastructure projects.
Project Reconciliation is dedicated to ensuring Indigenous communities have a prominent role in Canada's energy transition and infrastructure projects. Located in Calgary, Alberta, at 550 6 Ave SW, Suite 1000, Project Reconciliation is committed to driving equitable economic participation through three distinct initiatives.
Project Reconciliation focuses on fostering material Indigenous ownership in the low-carbon energy sector via Reconciliation Energy Transition Inc. (#RETI). Additionally, Project Reconciliation advocates for Indigenous voices to be central in major infrastructure projects, notably through the Rec inc. proposal for 100% Indigenous ownership of Trans Mountain Corp. This ensures that Indigenous communities have significant influence over projects impacting their lands and livelihoods.
Furthermore, Project Reconciliation is actively working to establish the Indigenous Sovereign Wealth Fund (ISWF), which will channel Indigenous capital into sustainable investments. This fund aims to foster inter-generational wealth creation and long-term economic prosperity for Indigenous nations. We invite the management of Project Reconciliation to create a customized and exclusive company showcase and product listing on our platform to further highlight these initiatives and opportunities.
