The Floriculture Sustainability Initiative is a leading organization dedicated to fostering sustainability within the floriculture sector through international trade and development. Since 2013, the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative has facilitated collaboration and knowledge sharing among key businesses, empowering them to advance their sustainability efforts.

Building upon the initial goal of achieving 90% sustainable production and trade of flowers and plants by 2020, the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative has set an ambitious 2025 agenda to enhance transparency and responsibility throughout the floriculture supply chain. This initiative focuses on responsible production and trade, responsible conduct, and integrated reporting.

With headquarters in Brussels, the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative and its members are committed to achieving four key objectives by 2025: expanding the 90% responsibly produced and traded volumes ambition to include new environmental and social aspects, reducing the carbon footprint for selected products, reducing the living wage gap for workers at the farm level, and encouraging members to report on progress and integrate due diligence reporting.
