As part of the broader UN Maps initiative, UN Mappers enriches topographic and operational data for UN missions. This initiative equips peacekeeping and humanitarian actors with enhanced topographic maps, operational geo-information, search and navigation tools, and high-quality imagery. The Department of Operational Support (DOS) of the United Nations utilizes these resources to aid conflict-affected countries in establishing conditions for lasting peace.
