Company Description

EITI (Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative) stands as the global standard for ensuring good governance within the oil, gas, and mineral resource sectors. Operating from its primary address at Rådhusgata 26, Oslo, Oslo 0151, NO, EITI champions the belief that a country's natural resources are the rightful property of its citizens.

EITI's mission is to foster a comprehensive understanding of natural resource management, enhance both public and corporate governance, and supply critical data that promotes heightened transparency and accountability across the extractive sector. With 55 member countries, EITI is committed to disclosing detailed information throughout the extractive industry value chain. This includes the processes by which extraction rights are granted, the flow of revenues through governmental systems, and the resultant benefits realized by the public.

Through active participation in EITI, member countries adhere to a unified set of regulations—known as the EITI Standard—that dictates the specifics of what information must be disclosed and the timelines for such disclosures. Within each EITI-affiliated nation, a multi-stakeholder group, comprising representatives from government, corporations, and civil society, actively supports the implementation of the EITI Standard. We invite the management team at EITI to further enrich your presence on our platform with a customized company showcase and comprehensive product listings, enhancing your organization's visibility and impact.
