EU Digital Wallet Consortium (EWC)

The EU Digital Wallet Consortium (EWC) is at the forefront of information services, dedicated to leveraging the benefits of the proposed EU Digital Identity. As one of the Large Scale Pilots for the EU Digital Wallet, co-funded by the European Commission, the EWC is focused on Digital Travel Credentials, Payment, and Organizational ID. This initiative aims to build upon the Reference Wallet Application, providing a trustworthy EU Digital Wallet solution for citizens, companies, and public authorities across Europe.

Led by BOLAGSVERKET/Sweden and the Finnish Ministry of Finance, and co-coordinated by msg systems ag, the EU Digital Wallet Consortium boasts a wide range of European partners with robust technical capabilities. With representatives from all 27 EU Member States and partners from other countries, the consortium comprises 41 partners and 35 associated partners. The EU Digital Wallet Consortium (EWC) ensures a useable and scalable EU Digital Identity and Attestation system.
