Founded in 1988, STORL plays a crucial role in the collection and proper disposal of crop protection products, fertilizers, and biocides, ensuring the safe removal of residual materials and empty packaging.
STORL operates through a collaborative initiative involving the Dutch crop protection industry, suppliers, contractors, and growers. This cooperative approach enables STORL to effectively organize the collection of waste materials and packaging from professional users, contributing significantly to a cleaner and more sustainable agricultural landscape. With the implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (UPV) in January 2023, STORL has adapted its operations to meet new responsibilities, with agricultural organizations CropLife, Agrodis, LTO, and Cumela now forming the board.
