R2D2

R2D2 is a collective dedicated to bringing together regional networks that support cultural events focused on sustainable development. Since 2012, R2D2 has facilitated collaboration and resource sharing among its members, driving forward initiatives in ecology, culture, and social responsibility.

R2D2 actively engages in current issues, identifies collective action plans, and supports emerging projects with the experience of established structures. With a focus on European and international networking, R2D2 fosters cultural exchange and collaborative learning. The collective is known for spearheading joint projects like the national Drastic on Plastic initiative, aimed at helping French festivals reduce and eliminate disposable plastics.

R2D2 continues to develop projects such as Festivals en mouvement, focusing on sustainable mobility, and STARTER, dedicated to eco-responsible artist performances and tours.
