The company’s initial phase involves a steel rolling mill with a capacity of 60 tons per hour (420,000 tons per year). This project is being executed in collaboration with domestic and international contractors. Saba Foulad Zagros sources its rolling line equipment, technical expertise, and detailed designs from reputable companies like CVS RM and SIMENSE. The primary strategy in selecting machinery and equipment focuses on achieving optimal efficiency and quality, resource optimization, and environmental considerations, all attainable through cutting-edge technical knowledge, consultants, and well-trained personnel. The line features a pusher-type preheating furnace, 18 rolling stands, a thermex system, a cooling bed, and an automatic packaging system. All products undergo rigorous tensile and flexural testing in a quality control laboratory, ensuring the issuance of quality certifications.

Looking ahead, Saba Foulad Zagros is actively pursuing the second phase, which includes developing a rolling line for producing various industrial and construction rebar and wire rods in coils ranging from 5.5 to 20 mm. The third phase involves establishing a steelmaking plant for producing steel ingots. Technical, financial, and feasibility studies have been successfully completed, and the necessary permits have been obtained. Funding approvals have also been secured through industrial zoning facilities at the Industry and Mining Bank. Saba Foulad Zagros is currently in the negotiation and contracting phase for purchasing machinery and equipment for the melting and casting line.
