RESHIP's mission is extraordinarily ambitious, involving complex research and the development of revolutionary technologies aimed at achieving zero emissions for future shipping. The project's ultimate ambition is to achieve a minimum overall 35% energy saving and to halve the hydrogen storage demands on space and/or weight, compared to state-of-the-art hydrogen-powered vessels. This paradigm shift in hydrogen usage onboard will significantly contribute to a self-sustainable, zero-emission water energy ecosystem.

RESHIP envisions hydrogen as the future fuel for ships within the framework of Zero Emission Waterborne Transport (ZEWT), aligning with the booming renewable energy industry.
