IRIS: Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services has been dedicated to welcoming refugees and immigrants while enriching the Connecticut community since 1982. As a dynamic national refugee resettlement agency, IRIS operates offices in New Haven and Hartford, CT, with staff strategically located across the country. IRIS is committed to serving individuals from diverse backgrounds who have sought refuge from persecution, aiding them in building new lives and becoming valuable contributors to their new communities.
IRIS achieves its mission through staff-facilitated resettlement services in Connecticut, as well as by supporting community and private sponsorship of refugees throughout the U.S. This impactful work is further amplified through IRIS's membership in the Welcome Corps, a consortium of seven organizations dedicated to refugee support.
