EUPATI, the European Patients' Academy on Therapeutic Innovation, is dedicated to providing comprehensive education and training for patients and patient representatives in the critical area of medicines research and development (R&D). Recognizing the invaluable role of trained patient experts, EUPATI empowers them to actively participate in medicines R&D, regulatory discussions, and other vital activities.

Established in 2012 through the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) and later hosted by the European Patients’ Forum (EPF), EUPATI has evolved into an independent non-profit Foundation based in the Netherlands, boasting 24 National Platforms across Europe and Japan. EUPATI is committed to enhancing the skills and knowledge of patients, enabling them to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of medicines research and development.

EUPATI continues to expand its global reach and impact. The organization is currently enhancing its resources, which will be completed soon with the support of the company’s management, ensuring that patients remain at the heart of therapeutic innovation.
