The Committee affiliates and collaborates with historical, genealogical, and research associations to enhance public understanding of key historic events. It focuses on the years 2024, 2025, and 2026, highlighting the roles of indigenous people, early Dutch, French, and other European settlers, as well as those indentured or enslaved during that period.
