Tufts Center for Animals and Public Policy is dedicated to the study of complex issues surrounding the evolving role and impact of animals within society. Located at 200 Westboro Rd, North Grafton, Massachusetts 01536, US, the Tufts Center for Animals and Public Policy supports the advancement and distribution of research-driven policies, impactful programs, and beneficial practices for both people and animals.

Tufts Center for Animals and Public Policy operates on the core principles that animal well-being is paramount, the well-being of humans and animals is interconnected, and a deeper understanding of human-animal relationships enriches both. Through educational initiatives, the Tufts Center for Animals and Public Policy offers a Master of Science in Animals and Public Policy (MAPP) program. It also enriches the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, hosting the Animal Welfare, Ethics and Policy signature opportunity and Shelter Medicine curriculums.

Tufts Center for Animals and Public Policy is committed to serving the community through support, education, and compassionate care. The Center for Shelter Dogs (CSD), an initiative of the Shelter Medicine Program, is dedicated to enhancing the welfare of homeless dogs.
