Located in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 26000, PK, Kohat University of Science & Technology (KUST) initially comprised four institutes: the Institute of Information Technology, the Institute of Management Sciences, the Institute of Education and Research, and the Department of Microbiology. These institutes offered Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degrees and Master's degrees. Over time, the university expanded to include departments in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Microbiology, offering BS (Hons.), M. Sc., M. Phil., and Ph.D. degree programs.
