Officially inaugurated on March 6, 2010, EiABC has a rich history, evolving from the Ethio-Swedish Institute and later as part of the Faculty of Technology of Addis Ababa University. Now an autonomous institute under Addis Ababa University, EiABC operates with academic freedom, financial independence, and administrative autonomy.

Located at P.O.Box 518, Addis Ababa, ET, EiABC offers a comprehensive range of teaching programs at the Bachelor, Master, and PhD levels.
