Rural Doctors Network (RDN)

Rural Doctors Network (RDN) is a leading Australian charity dedicated to improving health access for underserved communities. We work in partnership with community members, health providers, health administrators, policy makers, academia and linked sectors to build lasting health access outcomes for under-resourced communities, including remote, rural, regional, Indigenous and urban communities. RDN is privileged to act as the Australian Government’s designated Rural Workforce Agency for health in NSW, and as the NSW and ACT fundholder for health Outreach and associated service programs. With a focus on recruitment and retention of a multidisciplinary health workforce, rural health policy development, and provision of primary health services, RDN addresses the challenges of access to healthcare in remote, rural, and vulnerable communities. By fostering collaboration, implementing innovative programs, and advocating for policy changes, Rural Doctors Network (RDN) strives to build a more equitable and sustainable healthcare system for all Australians.
