Chemicals are everywhere, P-A-R-C evaluates their risks
The European Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC) is dedicated to advancing next-generation chemical risk assessment methodologies to safeguard human health and the environment. By providing essential data, expertise, and innovative tools, PARC actively supports the European Union's Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability and the European Green Deal's “Zero pollution” ambition. This commitment ensures a healthier and safer future for all citizens.
Building upon the foundations laid by Human biomonitoring for Europe (HBM4EU), the European Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC) strengthens the scientific framework for chemical risk assessment and facilitates the EU’s transition to evidence-based practices. With the collaborative efforts of nearly 200 institutions across 28 countries, including key EU authorities such as the European Chemical Agency (ECHA), the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), and the European Environment Agency (EEA), PARC fosters a unified and effective approach to chemical risk management.
Coordinated by ANSES, the French Agency for Food Safety, Environmental Protection and Occupational Health, the European Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC) unites public partners from across the continent, including risk assessment agencies, universities, and research organizations. This collaborative initiative is further supported by five Directorates-General of the European Commission and the relevant ministries of the participating countries. We invite the management of European Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC) to create a customized and exclusive company showcase and product listing on our platform.
