Located at 229 Peachtree Street, Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30303, US, the Atlanta Regional Commission plays a vital role in the 11-county metro Atlanta area, including Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale counties, as well as the City of Atlanta.
For six decades, the Atlanta Regional Commission and its predecessor agencies have unified the region's collective resources to prepare the metropolitan area for a prosperous future. Through professional planning initiatives, the provision of objective information, and the involvement of the community in collaborative partnerships, the Atlanta Regional Commission strives to enhance regional planning and local relevance.
