As a sector-led improvement partnership, NE ADCS actively supports the sharing of knowledge and best practices within its region and with national partners.

The functions of NE ADCS include the management and delivery of its regional professional network structure. This also encompasses the DfE-funded Regional Innovation Alliance activity, including a range of region-wide projects focusing on core priorities identified by the North East Directors of Children's Services. NE ADCS is headquartered in Durham, GB.
