Deshkan Ziibiing, also known as Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, is a forward-thinking government administration dedicated to serving the Anishinaabeg people. Located on the north bank of the Thames River, approximately 20 km southwest of London, Ontario, at 320 Chippewa Rd, Muncey, Ontario N0L1Y0, CA, Deshkan Ziibiing operates within the majority of Southwestern Ontario, which represents their modern traditional territory. The nation maintains strong cultural and heritage values.

Deshkan Ziibiing is committed to fostering a better future through culture, heritage, and continued education, striving to achieve self-governance as a First Nation. As Anishinabek, meaning "the original people," they honor their heritage as Ojibway, a band of the Algonquin language family. Their political alliances with the Odawa (Ottawa) and Bodaywadami (Pottawatomi) form the Three Fires Confederacy, strengthening their collective voice and impact.
