Bushfires NT

Bushfires NT is dedicated to safeguarding lives, property, and the environment from wildfires, operating in close collaboration with Volunteer Bushfire Brigades. Located at Cnr Townend Road and Stuart Highway, Acacia Hills, NT 0822, AU, Bushfires NT plays a crucial role in the Northern Territory's emergency response framework.

Working alongside approximately 500 active volunteers across 20 brigades, Bushfires NT supports volunteer firefighters who frequently assist full-time firefighters in various emergencies, including grass and bushfires, vehicle accidents, floods, and cyclones. The organization ensures that even the most remote communities receive timely assistance, providing essential support where career firefighters may be located hundreds of kilometers away.

Bushfires NT actively engages with landowners and the broader community to implement effective bushfire management and prevention strategies throughout the Northern Territory.
