The Eastern Cape Rural Development Agency (ECRDA) is dedicated to fostering sustainable growth and development within the Eastern Cape. As a schedule 3C entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), ECRDA focuses on implementing a comprehensive integrated rural development strategy. ECRDA was established by merging the Eastern Cape Rural Finance Corporation (ECRFC) and ASGISA – Eastern Cape (PTY) LTD. Its vision aligns with the national integrated sustainable rural development strategy (ISRDS), striving to create socially cohesive and stable communities with thriving economies and universal access to essential amenities.
