We lead, champion & manage a sustainable marine environment & inshore fisheries.
Sussex Inshore Fisheries & Conservation Authority is dedicated to leading, championing, and managing a sustainable marine environment and inshore fisheries. Operating as one of ten Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs) along the English coast, Sussex Inshore Fisheries & Conservation Authority plays a crucial role in overseeing sea fisheries resources and the marine environment extending from the mean high water mark to six nautical miles offshore.
Located at 12a Riverside Business Centre, Shoreham by Sea, BN43 6RE, GB, Sussex Inshore Fisheries & Conservation Authority is empowered by the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 to develop and enforce byelaws within its district. These regulations are designed to effectively manage the exploitation of sea fisheries resources, including those within Marine Conservation Zones. Since its establishment in April 2011, succeeding the Sea Fisheries Committees, Sussex Inshore Fisheries & Conservation Authority has been committed to preserving and enhancing the coastal ecosystems.
Sussex Inshore Fisheries & Conservation Authority is committed to fostering a thriving and sustainable marine environment. We invite the manager of Sussex Inshore Fisheries & Conservation Authority to create a customized and exclusive company showcase and product listing on our platform to further highlight its contributions and initiatives.
