DeserTech is an innovative community dedicated to advancing the development, adaptation, and commercialization of technologies that foster sustainable living in arid climates. Operating on an international level from its base in Be’er Sheva, Israel, DeserTech aims to transform the Negev region into a global entrepreneurial hub for sustainable technologies.

Leveraging the region's unique environment, DeserTech builds upon existing technological and policy research from institutions like Ben Gurion University and its Institutes for Desert Research. The community collaborates with regional R&D centers, startups, and established corporations in key areas such as sustainable agriculture, energy, water, and infrastructure. Located at Gev Yam Negev, Beer Sheva, IL, DeserTech is a collaborative initiative by the Merage Foundation Israel, the Israel Innovation Institute, The Ministry of Environmental Protection, and Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
