BATEKOO is a dynamic entertainment and cultural platform dedicated to amplifying the voices and creativity of urban, Black, and LGBT+ youth. BATEKOO is more than just entertainment; it’s a vibrant ecosystem that fosters entrepreneurship and celebrates Black, peripheral, and LGBTI+ cultures. Committed to connecting forward-thinking young individuals, BATEKOO is actively shaping counter-hegemonic narratives and driving social transformations within the Brazilian cultural landscape.

As a 100% Black and LGBT-owned company, BATEKOO has grown from its origins in Salvador in 2014 into a nationally and internationally recognized platform. The company continues to expand its reach through BATEKOO Records, a music label dedicated to supporting Black musicians and artists from the independent scene, and Escola B, an educational project that provides technical and socio-historical training to Black and LGBT audiences. BATEKOO's influence extends to major festivals worldwide, further solidifying its position as a cultural force.
