THUAS GameLab is een dynamische hub voor game-ontwikkeling en samenwerking, actief binnen De Haagse Hogeschool. Gevestigd op Bleiswijkseweg 37, Zoetermeer, Zuid-Holland 2712 PB, NL, integreert het THUAS GameLab de functies van een kenniscentrum, incubator, connector en speelplaats op het gebied van game-ontwikkeling.
Studenten bij THUAS GameLab houden zich bezig met game-gerelateerde projecten onder deskundige begeleiding en verkennen gebieden zoals gamificatie, VR/AR/MR, AI, simulatie, digitale tweeling, cloud en blockchain. Deze projecten kunnen in opdracht worden uitgevoerd of door studenten worden geïnitieerd, waardoor innovatie en praktische vaardigheden worden bevorderd. THUAS GameLab verbetert het game-onderwijs, waarborgt kennis en zoekt samenwerking met onderzoeksinstellingen, overheidsinstanties en bedrijven.
Vanuit de Dutch Innovation Factory in Zoetermeer vormt THUAS GameLab een aanvulling op het HBO-ICT game-onderwijs, waaronder de Game Development Minor en de afstudeerrichting Game Development & Simulations. De Dutch Innovation Factory herbergt ook andere innovatielabs, zoals het Inspiratielab, het AI Lab en het UX Lab, die samenwerkingsprojecten faciliteren.
