The Sound Lab is dedicated to removing barriers to access, ensuring that more children and young people can explore their creativity. With a focus on Article 31 of the UNCRC, The Sound Lab believes that everyone should have the opportunity to realize their creative potential, because music matters. The Sound Lab works to identify and alleviate the economic, cultural, and systemic barriers that can prevent certain groups from accessing creative opportunities.

Covering a diverse range of musical genres from hip hop to house music and show tunes to Chopin, The Sound Lab provides a flexible model of tuition based entirely around the interests and needs of those they support. The communities The Sound Lab primarily supports include children and young people with care experience, those with lived experience of displacement, and children and young people with a disability or additional support needs. The Sound Lab is located at The Pentagon Business Centre, 36 Washington St, Glasgow, G3 8AZ, GB.
