Georgia's HEO Program

Georgia's HEO Program is dedicated to preparing high school students to excel as heavy equipment operators throughout the state of Georgia. Launched with the support of the Georgia General Assembly and collaborations with industry leaders such as C.W. Matthews Contracting Co., Inc., CAT Simulators, SimScholars™, Georgia Highway Contractors Association, Associated General Contractors of Georgia, Inc., Construction Ready, and the Georgia Department of Education, the program has expanded to encompass 15 schools across the state.

By fostering a learning environment that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, the program equips students with the expertise to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
