مرکز کارآفرینی دانشگاه صنعتی شریف که در سال 1379 تأسیس شده است، به عنوان یک مؤسسه پیشگام در ایران است که به ترویج روحیه کارآفرینی در بین دانشجویان، اساتید و فارغ التحصیلان اختصاص دارد. این مرکز واقع در تهران - خیابان آزادی، دانشگاه صنعتی شریف، متعهد به ارتقای دانش عمومی و فنی کسب و کار، بهینه سازی توانایی های جامعه دانشگاه شریف به منظور توسعه شرکت های دانش بنیان است.
مرکز کارآفرینی دانشگاه صنعتی شریف از طریق برنامه های جامع، بر پرورش فرهنگ کارآفرینی و گسترش مهارت های کارآفرینی تمرکز دارد. این ابتکارات شامل انتشار مجموعه کتاب های «سی کارآفرین»، برگزاری سخنرانی توسط کارآفرینان موفق، تدوین کتاب های فنی در زمینه کارآفرینی و انتشار مجله دانشجویی «رشد و کارآفرینی» است. این مرکز همچنین از رویدادها، جشنواره ها و مسابقات مختلف مرتبط با نوآوری و کارآفرینی پشتیبانی می کند و دانشجویان واجد شرایط را از طریق یک پورتال شغلی اختصاصی با شرکت هایی که به دنبال مهارت های آنها هستند، مرتبط می کند.
