The Digital Egypt Builders Initiative (DEBI) is empowering Egypt's next generation of technology leaders. Launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in 2020, DEBI is dedicated to cultivating top graduates in engineering and computer science, equipping them to drive Egypt’s digital vision on a global scale. Through comprehensive educational programs, DEBI is fostering innovation and excellence in the digital landscape. The Initiative falls under the pillar “Egyptian Human Development”, a key pillar of MCIT strategy for building Digital Egypt.

Digital Egypt Builders Initiative offers a unique, free scholarship program to 1,000 exceptional graduate students annually, selected through rigorous criteria. These students receive advanced training in crucial fields such as data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, automation, and digital arts. In addition to technical expertise, the program emphasizes the development of essential leadership and management skills, ensuring graduates are well-rounded and prepared for future challenges. The comprehensive curriculum is designed to produce highly skilled professionals ready to lead and innovate in the digital age.
