Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA)

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) played a pivotal role in the construction and development of venues and infrastructure for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As a publicly funded body, the ODA was supported by the National Lottery, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and the Greater London Authority.

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) successfully managed the construction of new permanent venues, temporary facilities, and improvements to existing sports venues. The ODA also handled transport infrastructure and operations, as well as advertising and trading regulations during the Games. The Olympic Delivery Authority ensured the seamless execution of the London 2012 events.

Post-Games, the ODA was responsible for retrofitting the Olympic and Paralympic Village, transforming it into homes, with a significant portion designated as affordable housing. The Olympic Delivery Authority also oversaw the removal of temporary venues and the closeout of numerous commercial contracts.
