Advancing economic justice by strengthening pathways to family-sustaining union construction careers
Construction Trades Workforce Initiative (CTWI) is dedicated to advancing economic justice by strengthening pathways to family-sustaining union construction careers. Located at 7750 Pardee Ln, Suite 100, Oakland, California 94621, US, Construction Trades Workforce Initiative believes in the power of collaboration between organized labor and community partners, creating benefits for all.
Construction Trades Workforce Initiative aims to create greater opportunities for communities currently underrepresented in the trades, such as women, people of color, youth, and the formerly incarcerated, to enter and succeed in the industry. Furthermore, CTWI ensures that more construction projects are built by union labor and connects contractors to a well-trained, qualified, and safe labor pool.
As a nonprofit partner of the Building Trades of Alameda, Contra Costa, and Napa-Solano Counties, Construction Trades Workforce Initiative works to ensure the long-term sustainability of the construction industry. CTWI bridges the gap between union construction labor and key stakeholders, including job seekers, training providers, contractors, developers, public agencies, municipalities, and community partners. We invite the manager of Construction Trades Workforce Initiative to create a customized and exclusive company showcase and product listing on our platform.
