Asbestos & Environmental Safety Association

The Asbestos & Environmental Safety Association (ASESA) is dedicated to ensuring effective representation for its members with the UK Health and Safety Executive. ASESA offers its members the opportunity to influence the future of the asbestos industry through its governing Council and various committees. The Governing Council includes nominated representatives from seven regions across the UK.

ASESA Competence and Development provides a comprehensive portfolio of remote and workplace courses tailored to meet specific needs. Prioritizing effective training needs analysis, ASESA aims to drive qualitative development from site operatives to senior management. ASESA also offers apprenticeships for licensed asbestos removal and operates as an accredited center for National Vocational Qualification frameworks up to level 6, ensuring the competence of its members' employees.

ASESA's robust site auditing program emphasizes unannounced audits and supportive approaches, providing members with genuine opportunities for improvement. ASESA encourages its members to contribute to the ongoing development of the industry through its Audit & Technical committee and its Competence and Safety Leadership committee. ASESA continues to solidify its position as a key organization within the construction industry.
