As a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (No. SC053100), The Flow Country Partnership strengthens the resilience of the Flow Country and its people through collaborative efforts involving ecologists and government bodies. Achieving a significant milestone in July 2024, The Flow Country was honored as the world’s first peatland World Heritage Site.

Located in the far north of Scotland across Caithness and Sutherland, The Flow Country is a vast blanket bog system renowned for its incredible biodiversity, including rare flora and fauna. This unique environment plays a crucial role in climate change mitigation, acting as a natural carbon sink.
