Working collaboratively to end LGBTIQASB+ Domestic and Family Violence, Sexual Violence and Gender Inequality in SEQLD.
QTWAV is dedicated to working collaboratively to address and ultimately end LGBTIQASB+ Domestic and Family Violence, Sexual Violence, and Gender Inequality. Operating within the Community Services sector, QTWAV brings together a collective of LGBTIQA+ professionals focused on these critical issues in South-East Queensland.
Formed in 2021, QTWAV values the rich expertise, practical wisdom, and lived experiences that underpin LGBTIQASB+ community life. The organization’s collaborative practice engages in capacity building, stakeholder and community engagement, policy development, and systemic advocacy. These efforts support and shape an emerging sector that prioritizes communities disproportionately affected by gendered violence.
QTWAV’s model reflects key principles within the Australian National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children 2022-2032, including specialized services led by LGBTIQA+ experts, building capacity within the broader service system, and fostering collaboration between specialist services and LGBTIQA+ community organizations. QTWAV continues to drive progress and positive change within the community. We invite the management team at QTWAV to create a customized and exclusive company showcase and product listing on our platform to further enhance their visibility and impact.
