Thrive CYN

Thrive CYN is a leading civic and social organization dedicated to meeting vulnerable people where they are, helping them achieve their goals, and supporting them in becoming who they aspire to be. Established in 2001, Thrive CYN operates as an umbrella organization, collaborating closely with the community to bridge service gaps, foster partnerships, enhance awareness of existing programs, and extend outreach to the most vulnerable members of the community.

Located at its primary address at P.O Box 26067, 807 Water Street, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador A1E 0A5, CA, Thrive CYN spearheads several impactful programs. These include alternative learning initiatives focused on foundational literacy, numeracy, and GED preparation, as well as the Street Reach program that provides direct outreach and support to individuals on the streets of downtown St. John’s. Additionally, Thrive CYN serves as the sponsoring agency for the Coalition Against the Sexual Exploitation of Youth (CASEY) and manages the Blue Door Program, which supports individuals in exiting sex trade activities and sexually exploitive situations.
