With a widespread presence in states including Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, UP, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi, Sanmat is recognized as a Guide Star India & Google registered charity and a sustainable development partner to the United Nations. The approach is aimed at collaborating with rural communities, Self Help Groups (SHGs), Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRIs), and other project implementing agencies (PIAs) to strengthen forestry-based livelihoods, provide skill development training, improve sanitation, enhance education, and support healthcare. The organization is a partner with key entities such as the Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission and various departments within the Governments of Bihar and Jharkhand, as well as national and international organizations.
