RURITAGE is a distinguished international research network dedicated to uniting rural communities on a global scale. RURITAGE champions the revitalization of rural areas by leveraging their rich cultural and natural heritage. With a profound understanding of the enduring collaboration between nature and human society, RURITAGE empowers these communities to not only protect their heritage but also to seize new opportunities arising from their dynamic assets.

The RURITAGE project identifies and celebrates thirteen rural areas as Role Models, each recognized for their successful heritage-led regeneration. These prosperous practices are carefully analyzed and then shared with six selected Replicators, each representing local communities actively developing their own heritage-led regeneration strategies.
