Rural Mental Health Network is a leading Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening community capacity and promoting mental wellness in rural and remote Albertan communities. Established in 2018, Rural Mental Health Network addresses the unique challenges faced by these communities through education, promotion, and preventative initiatives. Our core mission revolves around empowering passionate community changemakers by providing them with free training in asset-based community development and facilitation techniques. Through this empowerment, we foster a robust network of Community Animators across Alberta, facilitating citizen-led action plans and improving overall wellbeing.

Rural Mental Health Network's commitment extends to providing accessible and equitable funding through Community Grants, designed to support the realization of these impactful projects. As a project of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Alberta Division, we are deeply rooted in a tradition of providing mental health support and resources.
