Moara de hartie operates The Paper Mill and the Crafts Village Complex in Comana, featuring ten creative workshops rooted in traditional Romanian village crafts. These include weaving, reed mace processing, blacksmithing, pottery and ceramics, woodwork, a traditional kitchen, a traditional mill and bakery, as well as hand-made paper, letterpress printing, and bookbinding. The organization offers direct experience through weekend visits, educational workshops for children and adults, and the manufacturing of handmade objects designed for the modern era.

Since its founding in 2009, Moara de hartie has expanded its impact with the addition of a Social Kitchen in 2021, providing food for visitors and vulnerable senior citizens in the community.
